Hi everyone,
I just wanted to say thank you very much for being such wonderful support for the Interfaith gathering that took place on Sunday. I thought that the event was a real success and I know that the youth really enjoyed themselves. I can't wait to go back to the Mosque in Auburn with the youth.
The impact that we will have made on the youth will have been incredible and hopefully they will spread the word about how similar we actually are.
I look forward to seeing you at Auburn Mosque if you are available on the 3rd September
Lots of love,
Rebecca Greegarten

Dear Mehmet, Zuleyha, Sadiq, Mahsheed, Bass, Makiz, Beniz, Musa,
Just wanted to say thankyou again for yesterday! All of you were wonderful.
Everybody is raving about how good the day was and how much they learnt! People were really pleased with what you did for us.
It is terrific to hear people talking about the issues and correcting old stereotypes, as well as looking for new opportunities to help and interact with people of different backgrounds.

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU
for your wonderful presentation and for making Facing Fear a very
successful day.
We've had very positive feedback on the presentations, and I will compile
the comments and distribute them during the week. For now I especially
wanted to pass on a comment from the final workshop ... participants said
that they wanted 'to congratulate the speakers on their patience and
grace - and especially their grace under fire'. I'd also like to thank you
all especially for dealing with hostile questions and comments. From the
feedback that we have received, it is quite clear that most people who
came found the day interesting and useful and people especially
appreciated the opportunbity to make contact with a range of organisations
and hear about diverse activities.
Again, many many thanks for being part of Facing Fear. I hope that we can
continue to collaborate in 2005 ...
All the best

I just wanted to say a big thankyou to you and your organisation.
From my discussion with my work colleagues today everyone was very pleased with the speaker Ahmet Keskin. It's been the main topic of conversation for the last hour. It definitely has emotions running high, but I think majority of people benefited from it. They were most impressed with the handout, and I have seen a few people reading your book. I've even convinced the Liberian to buy a copy for our library collection.
Once again thank you very much.

(Testimonial refering to the book launch of " 101 Questions You Asked About Islam")
I hope people take the opportunity to use the book to become more informed about Islam. Having already met your President, I am sure he will have
written it in an open and interesting way and would not shirk contentious issues. The Foundation seems to be doing all it can to eliminate misunderstandings between faiths and to establish widespread friendly relations between all Australians. I think you deserve support and I wish you every success in your efforts.

I congratulate everyone involved in the work being done to help the non-Moslem community to understand Islam. I know I have come to admire you
all very much, and hope I will be able to attend future meetings.

I recently received your information on the twelve hour course over six Saturdays " Islam in the Modern World" course…I have been impressed by your
approach since hearing about Affinity at an Ashfield meeting.

I listened to the webcast of Mehmet Ozalp's interview on the ABC's Spirit of
Things today.
I was impressed by Mehmet's tolerance and faith and greatly reassured in my
view that the West should not engage in an ideological "war" with Islam.
