On Friday, 26th of February, Affinity's President Mehmet Saral and his wife Hacer, were invited to a dinner by the Governor-General of Australia, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC and her husband, His Excellency Mr Michael Bryce AM AE. There were a total of 22 guests, with 10 who were the invited guests and 10 as partners of the invited guests, whilst 2 were from her Staff.
The dinner was held in the residence of the Governor-General at Admiralty House in Kirribilli. With great views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House the 10 honoured guests and their spouses were treated to great food and conversation.
The guests included Politicians, Labor Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, The Hon Mr Peter Garrett MP, Liberals Federal shadow Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, The Hon Mr Scott Morrison MP and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Sydney, Dr Michael Spence.
