Affinity President Mehmet Saral gave the group a presentation about the dialogue work Affinity has undertaken over the last nearly 10 years in building bridges in Australia. Also present at the meeting was Affinity Secretary Ms Rahile Ansari.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Brunei Darussalam Mr Mahdi was very interested in the work Affinity are doing and questions about how Affinity works to be a leading organisation in intercultural and interfaith activities from the Muslim community. Further discussions were held over tea and coffee. Afterwards Mr Saral and Mr Mahdi exchanged publications each organisation had produced.
